Fun Drums brings energy, confidence and creativity into music learning, and this week at Mereworth Primary School my talented students delivered wonderful performances at their annual Spring Concert. From the youngest four-year-olds taking to the stage for the first time to our seasoned performers, their talent was on full display.
Any early nerves quickly turned into excitement once the drumming started. Through our engaging drumming games and rhythmic warm-ups, they soon discovered how much Fun Drums can be when playing to an audience of proud parents, friends and teachers. The energy in the room was truly electric!

Music plays an important role in early development, and my approach to teaching focuses on expertly structured Fun Drums sessions that combine musicality and solid techniques. Whether a child is exploring a beginner drum set, trying out a full drumset, or taking their first steps with beginner drum lessons, each activity helps them build rhythm, coordination and confidence in a way that feels natural and enjoyable.
Events like this highlight just how powerful and engaging drumming can be for young learners.
